Return/Exchange Policy

 
At Barks 'n Giggles we want to make your shopping experience as pleasant as possible.  If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will be happy to issue a refund or exchange your item subject to the following terms:
 
General Items:
  • Returns must be made within 14 days of receiving item for full refund to apply (some exceptions apply). 
  • All returns received after 14 days from the arrival date will be issued store credit.
  • All merchandise must be in new, unwashed and unused condition in original, unopened packaging with all tags, instructional brochures and promotional materials still securely attached for any refund, exchange or credit to be issued.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a return if the merchandise is not in its original condition.  The customer will be responsible for all shipping charges for the return of the item.
  • Refunds will be applied to the credit card that was used to purchase the item.  If an item was paid by cheque or money order a cheque will be mailed to you.
  • If the item was a gift we will issue store credit.
  • A 5% restocking fee will be applied to all returns, unless products are being returned due to manufacturer defect, damage or shipping error.
  • Actual shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.  Please note that is amount may be more that the shipping cost charged on your order.
  • Shipping charges for returns/exchanges are the customers sole responsibility.  We suggest that you use a service that provides tracking/delivery confirmation as Barks 'n Giggles cannot be responsible for items not received. 
  • US customers must return items via USPS.  Any brokerage fees incurred will be charged back to the customer.
  • Items that are being exchanged will incur a $7.95 shipping fee (some exceptions apply)
The following items are considered final sale and we cannot accept returns or exchanges unless due to manufacturer defect:   
  • Bargain Basement or clearance items
  • Discontinued items/prints
  • Special orders
  • Like-new items
  • Personal care products including but not limited to mama pads, nursing pads, cleaners and soaps, etc.
  • Crib bedding sets
  • Bottles/nipples with seals broken
  • Cloth diapers
  • Others at our discretion.

We understand how hard it can be to choose a baby carrier.  As part of our dedication to helping you find the right baby carrier for you and your baby, we offer a 30-Day Risk Free Trial
 
Terms and Conditions:
  • Items must be returned within 30 days to receive an exchange to a different size/pattern/style.  
  • If you are currently pregnant and your due date is more than 30 days away, please leave a note in the comment box and we will be happy to extend the return period for you.
  • Customers are responsible for shipping charges to return the item, however we will not charge you additional shipping costs to send the replacement (first exchange only)
  • If you decide you would like to return the carrier, actual shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
  • Baby carriers purchased with a free shipping promotion are not eligible for free shipping exchanges.  In this case you will be charged a $7.95 shipping fee.
  • Returns and exchanges must be in new, and unwashed condition with all original packaging and instruction materials/DVD's included
  • We do not offer exchanges or returns on special orders, clearance or discontinued items.

Please email heather @ barksngiggles.com for a Return Authorization Form prior to returning your merchandise.
