Custom designed carriers for the style conscious parent. Babyhawk Mei Tais (Asian Baby Carriers) are adopted from a Chinese-inspired idea that makes holding your little lovely on your front, back or hip as safe as it is comfortable. The weight distribution of these Mei Tais makes wearing you baby more cozy and delightful than you can imagine for longer than you can imagine! Our design is simple to let you take off or strap on your Mei Tai quickly and easily.
BabyHawk Mei Tais are comfortable, safe and reliable. All the fabrics we use are pre-washed and dried to prevent shrinkage. The straps are 70 inches long and 3 3/4 inches wide. The bottom strap is one continuous piece of fabric, which offers the most durable and safest support for your baby. The top straps are padded as well as the headrest to offer the most comfortable walk for the parents and a safe, smooth ride for baby.
We believe that carrying your baby is the best way to raise a healthy and happy child. We also believe that you have a right to be comfortable while doing so. Free to laugh with baby and run from place to place without wondering when will you be able to take this thing off! You have enough stress on your mind, why share it with your body? A BabyHawk Mei Tai lets you free up your hands while staying close with the little one who needs you most.
All models feature the adjustable headrest as standard.
BabyHawk fabrics are considered limited edition and may be discontinued at any time. As we typically only order each fabric or pattern once, we highly recommend making an immediate purchase if you see a pattern you love.

BabyHawk Mei Tai FAQ
Can you wear a newborn in a BabyHawk Mei Tai?
Yes, you can wear a newborn in a BabyHawk Mei Tai! Some babies in fact prefer the mei tai over a sling or pouch. The upright position provided by a mei tai is particularly helpful for babies with reflux issues.
How do I wash my BabyHawk?
You can wash your BabyHawk on cold with just a little detergent (try putting it in a large lingerie bag or pillowcase to avoid it getting wrapped around the agitator or the straps all twisted) and then line dry. You CAN machine dry but your colors will stay brighter and more vibrant if you line dry.
Does the BabyHawk Mei Tai have good head support?
Every Babyhawk we sell comes with a headrest. The headrest can be used up or down. When the headrest is up, the carrier is 3" taller than the regular body size.
What size wearer does the BabyHawk Mei Tai fit up to?
The BabyHawk Mei Tai can fit up to a women's size 22/24 or a men's XXL. |
