How much does shipping cost? TOP

Is local pick up available? TOP

We are a home based business and do not have a storefront.  Local pick up in Calgary and Toronto is available on select items.  Please call or email for availability as not all items are available at both locations.

What shipping method do you use? TOP
We use Canada Post to ship most of our products, as we found this to be the most economical method.

How long will it take to receive my order? TOP

We process orders Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). Please allow approximately 48-72 hours for order processing.* Most items are shipped from Jen's house in Calgary and take approximately 4-10 business days to arrive. Special order items may take up to 6 weeks for delivery.  If there are any delays in shipping we will notify you immediately. Due to customs processing, please allow longer delivery times on orders shipped to the United States. If you are in need of a faster shipping option, please call or email us and we will find a solution to meet your needs.
 
Please note that because we have two locations, there are times where your order will be split shipped and you may receive two packages.  If this is the case we will include a note on the packing slip included with your order.
 
Customer orders containing pre-order items ship complete.  If your order includes other items and you would like to receive them before the item you pre-ordered, please contact us for additional shipping rates or place a separate order.

Can I place an order over the phone? TOP
We would be more than happy to take orders over the phone.  We accept Visa and Mastercard only for phone orders.

Will you ship to an address other than my own? TOP
Sure we will! Simply just add the name and address of the person you would like the item shipped to during the check out process.

How do gift certificates work? TOP
When you order a gift certificate, you will be asked to specify the email address that you want us to send the gift certificate to. We will then email a special voucher code to that address. If you would rather have the gift certificate mailed to you or your recipient, simply specify this in the special requests area during check out.

What types of credit card payment do you accept? TOP

We accept payment by Visa and Mastercard. 

Will you accept cheques or money orders? TOP

Absolutely. Please make them out to "Barks 'n Giggles" and mail them to: Barks 'n Giggles 725-157 Adelaide St W Toronto, ON M5H 4E7 Please note that we will wait 5 business days for Canadian personal cheques to clear before shipping your order.

If we do not receive your cheque within 10 business days your order will be cancelled and the items you purchased will be made available to other custmers.
 
We are now pleased to accept interac email cash transfers.  Please send to heather @ barksngiggles.com and use your invoice number for the security question.

Do I have to pay taxes? TOP
If you are a Canadian resident, then yes.  We charge GST/HST on all orders and add PST to residents on Ontario. Residents of the United States are not charged any taxes, however they are responsible for any customs duty or taxes levied.   Taxes are not included in the price of the item and will be added to the total on check out.

Do you accept Paypal? TOP

We will be happy to accept payment though Paypal.  Please use the Paypal option in checkout and include the email address associated with your Paypal account.  We will email you a link that will allow you to pay directly from your Paypal account.

Can I cancel an order? TOP
Orders are processed as soon as they are received and in most cases can not be canceled. If for any reason you need to cancel your order before you have received a shipped notification please email us immediately. A 5% processing fee will apply.  Custom orders cannot be cancelled.

What currency are your items listed in? TOP
All items are listed in Canadian dollars.

I would like a Hotsling or BabyHawk Mei Tai that is not listed. Are special orders available? TOP
We would be happy to special order any prints or sizes that we do not have listed.  Shipping times will vary and we will provide you with an approximate time frame prior to ordering.  Please note that all special order items must be paid in full before we place our order.

Will you ship internationally? TOP

Absolutely!  Our shopping cart is only set up to calculate shipping costs to Canada and the United States.  If you are an international customer interested in any of our products please email us and we can provide you with shipping options.

When will my credit card be charged? TOP

Our credit card processing system charges your Visa or Mastercard at the time your order is placed.
